Appreciate the advice. I might leave the running boards on until I get some rock sliders (need to take a look at the past threads before jumping into this). As far as tires go, I'm going with BFG T/A K02's. Costco has a 150 off sale and they get really good reviews, so might as well go with them.

Thanks...Luckily for us out here in Oregon roads are very rarely salted. We don't get much snow and most areas don't use salt/chemicals due to the runoff impact into the rivers (we've got several species of salmon that are listed as endangered species). The GX I'm buying has been an OR vehicle...

I am hoping to acquire a 2007 GX470 (waiting for it to pass inspection) later this week or early next week. I'm excited to have it for the upcoming PacNW winter. Question for the experienced folks on what modifications or updates they would make as a priority for a PacNW winter and spring.
