Thanks Brett, Will get her back over to shop to re-double check the valves. Did seem to run smoothly for short period after adjustment (~2 weeks ago), but is now running progressively worse. Thanks, David.

My FJ55 is running horribly - incredibly rough. It is idling a bit rough, but when I get her to ~20+ mph, she bucks all over the place. Seems to get a rougher as I get to ~40 mph (not sure above). I had the valves adjusted, carb adjusted (not rebuilt - it is the orginal), changed fuel filter...

I want to keep my FJ55 looking stock, but my local shops won't install new tires on the OEM split rims. I am looking for compatable 16" x 7.5" steel wheels I can put clips on and use OEM hub caps. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dws.

Sorry to be dense (I'm FJ55 newbie) It doesn't use oil and runs very well, save for some perfectly tolerable roughness at a few speeds. What problems (worthy of a valve job) shoud I look for? Many thanks Guys!

My 1977 FJ55 with the original 2F needs a valve job (3 cylinders are 140, 3 are 125). How difficult is this job? Do I need a shop specializing in Toyotas, or can a good generalist do it? How much should it cost? Thanks, Dws.
