Need spare (tire) for FJ62. I'm waiting for BFG AT KO3 in my size. In the mean time my spare is shot and I'm running naked. Anyone got a 33x10.5x15 tire sitting around?

If you can time your trip to pull the pass just before or after sunrise the ambient temp will be lowest of the day. There also might be less traffic so you can also drive slower without torquing off others pulling the pass.

Good recovery. People ask me how deep i go with my snorkel. I say never a high as the rocker to avoid bad things.

Has anybody insulated or otherwise done something to cool the return fuel? Could AC lines run to an enclosure under the chassis with a few loops of return fuel line? Surely something simpler can be tried.

I had a round key locking pin lose the locked end on the highway. Wife was driving the Excursion with our small 4x8 enclosed trailer. A passing car hailed us. I looked back and the trailer was low in the front, obviously riding on the little rubber wheel on the jack. She pulled to the side...

4 Low, after seeing the above posts, sounds like something I should try launching and retrieving my 8000 lb boat and when moving heavy trailers around on my property. It will also display the overhead camera view.

Look for an appliance extension cord. Usually short, like 6' but they are flat rather than round. I have used them for over a decade through the tail gate for shore power to the fridge.

When I saw the new Prado with a 4 banger and batteries, first thing I thought was LS swap. I have no use for a hybrid anything. 4 cylinder, no. Fire hazard battery cells, no. all that space could fit a long range tank that the forced induction LS can drink. But, I'll just keep my 200.

I just ordered 2 of them. One center mount and one angled for the passenger side. They sell a 15° wedge so that one points to the passenger. I got the charging holders with the side arms and bottom arms to hold them. We have windshield suction cup mounted charging mounts but they prevent me...
