No real updates here, KDSS valve still stuck, but lift has been on for a couple hundred miles now. Seems to be level still, but havent measured to be sure. Got some wandering and a "loose" feeling on the highway on the most recent trip from MA to DC. Was loaded up with a several hundred pounds...

I have the same year/color/interior, but with way more miles! Seems not many have the Sonora Gold...it's my favorite. Here's mine with 275/70r18s, a lift, ARB, winch, etc. Great find!

Despite frozen/stuck KDSS, got the TJM lift/ARB/winch on. Already had the 275/70/18 Toyo AT2s. The shop did a great job and the truck is level. With a couple of it's new friends at the shop just before I picked it up.

@NLScooby, I posted a pic on the 2nd page of this thread of the valves. The photo is kinda washed out from the flash but should give you an idea.

A slight update from the OP (me) Decided to just go ahead with the lift and deal with it IF there is an issue with it being level after install. Seems like it's doable (Slee and Kurt seem to have done installs with frozen valves). I did spend an hour or two a few weeks back under the truck...

Good tip...ill try the torx bit instead. Have a bunch here, so should have something that will work.

So i took the cover off...which it doesnt look like the shop actually did since the cover bolts were lightly rusted on.... The valve screws themselves actually werent rusted at all. Hard to tell from the pic with the flash, but the left valve screw (in the pic) actually had a layer of paint...

Nothing new. I've got the truck back from the shop and am going to try one more time this weekend to get that damn thing loose. One of the two bolts is free, but obviously need both unscrewed to open the circuit. Have an impact driver with a 5mm allen/hex socket, some PB Blaster and my trusty...

Yep, they have worked on 200s before, though not sure about KDSS specifically. I know the system is complex and is charged at a very high psi with special equipment. Trying really hard not to have to replace it, he's giving it a few more tries/days with a penetrator and a breaker bar before...
