Thank you. I actually managed to test each glow plug and they were busted only one was working. The man that rewired the ignition messed up the glow plug line. So i rewired the original ignition back and installed new glow plugs 12V, the car starts just fine after about 30seconds of pre-heating...

I've learnt a number here. I have a 1980 hj47 12V 2H motor, according to some of the information I've read on this platform and in this thread, i see that a 12V uses 8.5V glow plugs? or can I still fit something like a 11V glow plugs? also would like to know how the glow control system is...
