Do you know if you are allowed to pay via Credit Card? I'm assuming probably not, but just asking since I'd rather have 0% apr. Cash is another thing, but don't feel like losing 20k right off the bat.

May I ask how much you spent on the inspection and the transportation of the car/flight? Also, did you buy one from nearby or one from the west/south? Time is not an issue. I am more worried about being ripped off.

I'm not an expert on buying a car 10 states south or west of me. I know that there are likely more rust free 100's/470's down there, but having a 5 day work week and family during the weekend makes it very difficult to fly out for an inspection. I much rather stick locally and pay a bit more...

I'm looking to pay 15k - 25k for a used Land Cruiser / LX 470. I would prefer it to be under 100k miles, well maintained, and minimal rust. I live in New York and can drive up to 150 - 200 miles in any direction from New York.
