Dennis 1970 40

I grew up with this FJ40. Purchased by my mother who was an avid rock hound and collector in the Mohave Desert of Southern California. Around 1992 she decided too rough and sold to me. I had as a daily driver until February of 1994 when I realized my move to Pennsylvania was going to cause the FJ40 to rust away. I let my brother keep it in Idaho from 1994 till 2015 when I took it back to fix up and drive here in spring, summer and fall. My biggest disappointment is that there are not many roads to do "off-roading". You have to drive to an Off Road Park to really use the FJ40. I enjoy working on mechanical things from machines at work to small motors and tools. I have a wonderful sweetheart, Sandy, a son and daughter and two fine grandsons and one granddaughter who have had the joy of riding in the FJ40.
