I use the through-the-bumper mount with a regular drop hitch.

I’m curious @suprarx7nut - why not use the “post amp” signal? If doing so, I’d assume this would be a “low pass” signal input to the amp, correct? Also, what is ASGD?

That’s sort of what I’m thinking. I don’t want to over complicate this. The Crutchfield folks want to sell me a line output converter to tie in between the OEM speaker wires and the new amp and I’m just not sure it’s necessary.

I went to grab a couple of coil packs for my ‘03 LX and noticed that there’s a part number for pre-August 2003 and a different one for post-August. Are there known differences that I’m unaware of between early versus late ‘03 models?

Ahh, of course, for some reason that didn't click with me. I just dialed mine in a few months back to within spec. It's a great system when maintained.
