Yep- the adjustment was necessary, however the bigger issue was the monumental taks of moving the lever all the way from re circ to fresh- that cleared up any remaining hot air. :doh::doh:

Alright I have a 92 80- AC makes snow it works so well, however to set the system on vent, cold, (just for fresh outside air) it blows engine temp warm/ hot air. Is this a worn out flap? in the air ducting? Something I can adjust? Thanks in advance for any ideas on this-

more info Thanks Guys- So all u-joints are in perfect shape and the front drive shaft splines are very tight too. Yes, the clunk is totally gone by removing the shaft- I will check the front output shaft and the pinion this afternoon. Am I just looking for slop? Cheers-
