New cowl vent drain tubes from City racer. I put some old screen under the vent to maybe keep out some crud. Was leaking into footwell. Wish i remembered the grommets too, lol

Yeah. I've had the guys at SOR swear me out over the phone. After spending $15,000. Because i needed help with the door handles they sold me. Matt is more mad scientist, scattered but vintageteq brilliant. May not sit well with the "ship it yesterday instant gratification crowd."

Picked up an induction heater... one full cycle on the capture nuts and the hinge screws started to turn!

I like that idea! Test drive today, no leaks AND it started easier. Seems to run a little better going down the road too. Needle and seat could be worn, it was fine for awhile with no regulator, then started dumping fuel and running rich, hence the regulator. Problem i was having WITH the reg...

So... replaced a bad NEW fuel filter AND am going to try this setup instead of pressure regulator. Weber 38 on stock 74 1.5F. Second filter with return line.

How are you hood hinges gaskets? Could be water intrusion past the hinge where it bolts into cowl. I didn't know that was a thing until i threw some cork under the hinge... and water dripping under dash into pedals became a problem.
