When I did my swap with the 4L80, the tcase would grind if I shifted it with the trans in neutral however with the trans in park I could shift from high to low all day long. Totally opposite of the Toyota trans.

i used a trimmed gates 20230 for the lower hose. upper is a combo of factory toyota upper and factory lq4 upper joined with a 1.5 to 1.25 splice. Transitional Hose Splicers

I had the Baja xrs seats for a couple years then swapped them out for sport seats. Sport seats are far more comfortable in my opinion, but with the corbeau brackets you’ll sit up pretty high.

Fitech has the capability to bump up the idle when the compressor kicks on. Once I build ac lines and charge the system I’ll see how well it works.

From what I could find, you can only do that to certain ecus. Mines one that can’t run a cable throttle, so I’d need a new ecu and re pin the ecu plugs. Or rip it all out and go aftermarket.

Yeah not happy with the gm setup, mostly the dbw throttle. I randomly get a throttle error code that kicks it into limp mode. I’m looking forward to a throttle cable again!

Lq4/4l80e 35s and 5.29s I haven’t driven it enough to get an idea on mileage. I’ll be going back to 4.10s eventually and currently have it pulled apart again while I ditch the gm efi for Fitech.
