    Dying / Sputtering under load

not sure on the pressure but i am running the carter 4070 electric fuel pump that weber recommends. Does anyone think it could be a weak coil in my hei distributor? Sometimes it starts fine sometimes not. I can turn the distributor ccw and get it to start but it doesn't run smooth. I...

Blowing fuel out of the carb

Fuel pump is ok. Replaced anyway. No change. The fuel is backfiring through the carb. If it it too lean, is it just a case of mixture screws? If so, what would cause the adjustment to get so out of whack. It ran great the last time I drove it - although it was four plus months ago.

Blowing fuel out of the carb

Tried pulling the line. It goes to the intake manifold. No difference. I should add that when I pulled the carb, a plug on the vacuum port was cracked so i replaced it. There is another plugged port on the intake - desmogged - which was blowing off. Dan

definatley go with a reciever hitch and brake controller if the traier has electric brakes. easy to do and worth it. hauled the 40 and bobcat with a f150. (not at the same time) not that bad. as with towing anything else, take your time. Dan
