Cheers Lost. Not good, the starter is no more than a year old! That's the other thing I forgot to mention, I can hear the starter relay/solenoid pull in. Maybe a dirty contact on the starter relay....?

Thanks Red, Forgot to mention he changed the clutch fan for a Spal thermo fan. Engine is non turbo, 2.8L diesel (pretty sure it's 2.8L, it's a 1994 model anyway). Unless there is something i'm missing, the blowby is real high. But I can't see how it's finding it's way into the inlet plenum.

Toast, Awesome workmanship on this build mate, it's a real credit to you. Are your rear flares welded to the panel only where the pics show? Or are they welded on the underside also? Would you be comfortable using the flares as a jacking point? Would they be strong enough not to bend/buckle...
