Thats what i was thinking. Welded spokes on it.

Started trying to unlock the engine. Oil was real nasty. Drained it and replaced with some other used stuff i just took out of my daughters car. Checked all the valves- 1 was stuck open but freed right up with a whack. Ran the olil pump wih my drill motor, all seemed good but still wont roll...

That makes sense. I believe the engine belongs to that frame then. When i had the numbers ran to make sure it was clear i was told frame number was april of 71. I wonder what the story was? Maybe someone liked the 25 body and thats what they had? Or maybe a lazy engine or running gear swap so...

I know. I was not aware the 25s existed. Thought o was buying a beater 40 to hack on a bit until i started looking close. Excited to have it but also a bit sad. Had highway patrol look at it and verified its on a 71 40 chassis. They must have not been way to different because its hard to tell...
