I know it's sticking because when I move it with my hand it hangs up instead of retracting, After I adjusted it and went for a drive I stomped on the gas and after that it wouldn't shift into 3rd, I popped the hood and the KD cable was stuck from when I stomped on it. Thanks again

Kick down cable...stupid autocorrect

My wife told me her 92 fj80 was shifting hard. I looked at and adjusted the kick down cable and it helped a little but still shifted hard from time to time. I figured out the kick down cable is sticking. I tried getting some lube down it but hasent seemed to help. I guess I need to replace it...
