There's a mess of bondo on there, previous owner loved the stuff, there were some bad ripples In the sheetmetal after the top chop they must've dealt with that way. Hard to tell wish I had a better pic but they are noticabley larger.
I cut my rears out about 1.5-2 inches in places only due to heavy rust, beat the inside upper panels straight and welded the whole lip back together turned out better than expected. Had to split the inner fender in about 3 places and weld in new sheetmetal triangles to fill the gaps. Lotsa...
Compared to my canadian bj that things rust free, good score, I keep looking at the rust behind my door hinges saying I think I can, I think I can, I think I can haha
Whoever did the body job on mine did good the Inside looks factory with the back panel and mesh pockets from the 75 both heaters are still functional, but I got rust by the door hinges so we'll see if I still like the previous guy when I tear into rust this summer
I strongly believe in agm battery's such as optima the only drawback of agms at least on paper is the charger, agm are very low internal resistance. Great for getting as much Amperage out to your starter as possible bad for off the shelf chargers, with such low resistance many (read most)...
