    Bugger... I've had mine back as far as .9 as well. You will notice a significant improvement in performance advancing it. Do you know if the pump has been off at any stage? All I can say is the first time is the hardest... 👍

    Yeah, it's one of the worst engines for tuning the boost compensator (aneroid pin or star wheel). I can get the top of the compensator off without removing the intake manifold and rotate the aneroid pin, but to actually remove the pin and reinsert, you really need to remove them intake manifold...

    A few different options... Dave Stedman at 4x4Japan is pretty knowledgeable on them. You can also get rebuild kits from a mob in the UAE called MAG Engines. You can see a full rebuild I did of my 14BT in one of my posts.

The last time I rebuilt my 14BT I used a digital torque wrench and recorded the final two 90 degree torque measurements to see what the actual torque would be. Perhaps you could then retorque to those measurements, but I thought that once TTY bolts stretch...
