guess i should clarify I replaced timing belt as part of water pump replacement. Used full kit from Napa and new thermostat since i was there

yeah thanks... She prrr's like a kitten now. Problem is now i'm running hot. Had to put aftermarket parts in due to living on an Island and needing my wheels fast. I burped her after the coolant replacement but still running hot. Anyone have issues with Napa Thermostats?

So i am swapping out the timing belt. What shoild take precedence for TDC? The marks i mafe when i pulled the timing cover or the factory tdc marks? Dont want to put it all back together without being sure. Know what i mean?! This is on a 2000 4runner 5vz-fe. Thnaks

I have my a/t temp and brake light coming on now and the battery won't charge. However if I jump it with a tundra or other truck, the lights go off and it charges until I stop it and start up again. Then the lights come back on and it won't charge.:crybaby: Any solutions?
