Thank you for the response. The shop just called me to give me a heads up that if I do decide to have them replace both, it's going to be a 13 hours job so, yes, it's definitely not a DIY friendly for sure. However, can anyone give me the part number for the oil filter housing cooler? I can't...
Ok, I just got back from the shop and it's listed that to replace the leaking cooler and timing cover gasket it'll cost around $3,000. Is this a reasonable cost? I was wrong in my initial post above. It's the oil housing cooler that's leaking. This is where the most leak happened. And the second...
For a couple of years now my 2014 LX 570 has been leaking oil. I finally took it to the mechanic. He said there are two places that it leaks. The bigger leak is the oil filter housing gasket. Is this easy and relatively cheap to replace myself? If so, what part do I need?
So, through all that and it turned out to be just a battery issue (I think). The reason I initially thought it was not a battery issue was because I was able to fold and unfold the other seat but just not the right side only. However, since the vehicle has not been driven for about a week or two...
Ah, so I know what those Start date and End means now.
On the right there's no issue at all besides that particular folding problem. To measure if the ECU is sending power, I have to pop the cover open and measuring the volt on those wires, correct?
Ok, I'm a bit confused how this FSM work. I thought "Start 2007/08, End Current" means from the year of 2007 or 2008 to the current. That is why I thought "Start 2008/2015, End Current" means it covers my 2014 which is in between those years.
Anyway, for the "Start 2007/08, End Current" the...
I"m not sure but this is the one I picked.
And on this site, it shows this one for 2014 LX 570.
And also on the 2014 Lexus LX 570 manual it has similar to the site above. However, I'm not sure if "seat adjustment" is the same as "...Folding-Up Function". I guess one thing for sure is to test...
Thank you so much for all the help thus far. Before I start digging into the fuse box and testing with my multimeter, does this look like the correct fuse to start with?
In another page it list 10A MPX-B NO.2 for this same function as well. When I clicked on the link, shown in the screen...
Anyone know how I would about testing if the fuse if fried in the fuse box? I have never looked in the fuse box so I'm not sure how I'm even going to test if which fuse is responsible for the rear seat. I do have access to the Toyota FSM.
I think part of the function of the button is that it releases the latch then pulls the seat to the side. The latch is not even release so I can't assist it.
