Those are correct, but your missing the metal clips that go under the bolts (Shown in a post above). I've just removed these from my 1958 to install a roof rack.
I've always liked them, and now I'm in the market. What are the trouble areas I should be concerned with for a vehicle with over 100k? ...and any other advice.
Thanks,
Carl
I've seen it written that the 1958 has heated rear view mirrors, but the owner's manual was a little cryptic (could be me). If so, how do you operate them? On the 100 they had a switch, on the 200 they came on with the rear defrost switch. I think Toyota is just messing with me. :p
Same as the 200 and I bet used on other toyotas as well.
Using the lock button press/release > press/release > press and hold. After a few second the hazard lights will flash and then start.
Just picked up a 1958 and so far I love it!
Do to the hour I leave for work in the morning, remote-start is important to me. I had seen some internet chatter that some LC were shipping with the "press press hold dance" functioning so when standing on the showroom floor I asked the dealer to...
My 2013 has lost the ability to "remember" the HVAC setting when the truck was shut down. Whenever I start the truck all the HVAC controls are off. This is a new issue - in the past I could leave the heat on and remote-start and have a warm cabin.
...any thoughts?
Thanks!
