How close is the nearest tire shop ?

I’ve seen videos removal of non threaded tubes like ours on YouTube and they do get destroyed on removal. The main issue is that they do not have threads on either end, and new ones are installed. Not sure why Toyota does not sell these.

Are there part numbers for the tubes themselves?

I wonder if this is something that is missed all the time, where someone goes out, performs the repair, and never pulls the plugs to make sure it was done correctly? Especially since the service interval on the spark plugs is 100k miles...

It was pretty wet, I pulled the plug and it was dripping oil all the way out.

So took the car back to the dealer, and they are now saying that the leak is happening from the bottom of the spark plug tubes...They put a camera in the tubes themselves and since the oil was only on the bottom of the tubes, they are saying its a seal between the head and the bottom of the...

Interesting, How did you realize the bushings are shot? Also why is the repair so expensive to DIY ?

When I bought my GX the truck had its tranny "serviced", i did a drain and fill, and checked level using the level checker on the transmission drain pain, with the transmission at temperature, long story short i was 1.5 quarts short. After reading around it looks like these transmission flushing...

@jmanscotch - Hows it going ? Any update since the Jan 2021 ? I have been a bit out of the forums due to us having to move but back in business, also the oil in spark plug tubes is back yey! hahah hows everything going with your rig ?
