Thanks. No deposit on it yet. I have a big 4000 mile road trip coming up in the spring I'm planning, so I want to use it for that if it doesn't sell on here. Not in a hurry since I do love driving the thing. I might consider other avenues to list it later in the summer if I still have it...
Windshield noise fixed. New windshield with all new OE moldings from Lexus, installed using OE rivets.
Sunroof leak fixed. All 4 sunroof drains also checked and flowing well.
Yes pull the cover and it will be obvious. Most obvious things is VVT engines have a black plastic intake manifold, while the previous models used aluminum.
Thanks! To be honest I’m suprised no one has bought it yet. You would literally spend more than the asking price at Lexus just for the recent work it’s had done to it.
That's interesting feedback. I'll fix it in the next few days if it doesn't sell. If that's a deal breaker for you make sure you specifically ask sellers, because as far as I know this is a common 100 issue, though fixable.
Weekend bump, lots of enthusiasm but no money in my hand yet. This vehicle is extremely dialed in, dealer maintained. No "base line" required. Ready to mod or enjoy as is.
$19,500
Walk around and driving video. I hosed off the undercarriage for the video, still a couple wet spots because of it. This vehicle leaks nothing.
Perfect vehicle for someone who wants to get in and stack thousands of miles on. Also an excellent start to mod if you want to go that route. Needs...
That was how I looked at mine as well. I used it for work trips and once I started reading about things that "could" fail I ended up just changing out everything. Peace of mind to drive it anywhere even without cell reception is a nice feeling.
No kidding. I've had my 200k mile LX for sale with $10k poured into baselining and the emails have been frustrating. People over value mileage on these trucks. You either believe they last 500k miles or you don't.
