Mine lasted until 158,000 miles and I am sure because I am the original owner. Guess that I got lucky. BTW I have a 99' LX470.

I have been having this weird noise coming from under the glove box when the A/C or heat is on. The noise is like a whine when the A/C is on and sounds like clicks when the heat is on. Has anybody else experienced this? Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy! Thanks in advance.

What kind/size tires are on that rig? It looks great! Is it lifted or is it just because the running boards are removed?

The problem corrected itself today because I am assuming that things dried out. The sunroof sounded like it was open when the car wash blower started pushing the water in. It was closed all of the way but later leaked in from the sunroof and the two floor boards...weird. Where do the drains...

The delux bar will fit the 98-02 lx470 but I am not so sure about the 03-07 LX. They changed the bumper and supports a little and I am pretty sure that it will not fit anymore.

It must be the wrong part becuase i did a direct swap from my 99' leather wheel to the newer 00' to 02' wood wheel and it fit perfectly. It may be from an 03' and up....they are different.

Starting last week i noticed that my 2000 Lx was struggling to start and it was getting worse the longer i let it sit without being started. i went to batteries plus and they said that the battery was reading kinda low but since it was a deep cycle they were not sure without bench testing it...

It is very labor intensive to remove the crossbars and i am not even sure if you would notice a difference in MPG. You have to remove both sides to get them off. If you are going to do something just take the whole rack off and sell it on eBay or keep it in the basement.

Has anyone done a rearview mirror swap fom a 99 to an 01 with the integrated compass. I am not sure if it would be an easy plug and play swap or if the is much more to it than i am realizing. Any info would be appreciated.

I have done this exact mod and it does involve splicing the wires but just be careful because they are very short and there is little room to work with them. It looks great and works great and only took like 30 minutes to install.
