Thanks Ferg, but all the ones I see from you and my own Ebay search yesterday were for the 2wd model. My brother tells me the 4wd one is different.

My brother just acquired a really nice low mileage 1982 Toyota 4x4. The problem is the lower valance was missing. It seems to be in doing a quick google search they are very rare, even aftermarket. Any of you guys have any help on where to locate one?

2nd West Texas for the rebuild. You will be amazed how tight your steering is when you get it back. Mine seemed like driving a sloppy tractor before the rebuild.

If you look on the picture there is a cover that goes on the outside of the 90 degree bend. It attaches with two little screws and hides the bolt that holds down the upper mirror body.

Thanks for the pictures Cruiser Ed. I didn't get a chance to wrench on it last night but I will try to fit it again tonight. I am still perplexed if I need the residual pressure valve. Shouldn't there be on already in the T100 master cylinder?

the bracket for the proportioning valve blocks the vacuum port on the bottom. The more threads I read for guys the more confused I get. It looks like some guys removed the proportioning valve completely and are running a residual pressure valve for the rear drum brakes.
