Just tried the TPS, no luck. Codes are 12, 13, 32, 45 but I don’t know when those were last cleared. I’ll investigate the MAP sensor but I’m not sure if that would cause a no start condition.

I just came across this which makes some sense if it’s an issue with the ecm but it does kick the pump on for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on. I’ll dig into it a bit further as soon as I can.

If I remember correctly it’s a obd0 setup from an 88 Astro van 4.3 and uses the standard coolant temp sensor for that engine. I haven’t checked it recently but have replaced it in the past while trying to troubleshoot idle issues.

Are there any personal experiences running a centered 14b with the offset transfer case? Or for that matter a centered transfer case with offset diff? That offset 14b is awesome, not necessarily a cheap option though once you go all in.

RCV's are on the way!

I didn't realize RCV was making axles for the FJ60, it's been a few years since I was seriously looking at axles for this thing. The RCV's don't appear to cost much more than the gun drilled TG axles and with a warranty like that I don't see why I'd choose anything other than RCV.

Thanks, that is reassuring. I was expecting to break an axle sooner or later but didn't want to replace a steering box as well. Any opinions on replacement axles? Are the TG Longfields as good as the older ones?
