I have an unlocked 96 that I have had for a bout a year now. Got the thing with 88k on it, now I have 105K. Changed valve cover gasket recently, installed new driver's side seat/leather, new kenwood head unit, new speakers, keyless remoter start/alarm, OME 2.5 lift/1 year old BFG all terrain...

Figured it out: The hex nut holding the crank to the motor was loose. Tightened it up and it appears I am almost there. Two more things: 1. What size is the hex nut on the back end of the crank arm (maybe 13mm doing the eyeball test). 2. How in the heck to a calibrate the motor so that...

The brand new linkage comes with new posts with new splines...don't think this is the problem but will double check.
