A couple months late, but checking in with my new to me 3FE: 1992 with 143k miles. Only problem so far is the usual broken antenna that I'm currently trying to replace with a shorter rubber one. Have to start putting some money away for general upkeep and mods.

Adding to the price references, I picked up a '92 with 143,000 miles for $4500 a couple months ago. Everything in good condition with the exception of the front tires. I'm also a noob so I feel your pain.
