My GX460 shifts slowly first thing in the am, if its colder than 50. I have remote start which is a God Send. I start and 3-5 min later walk to car and it is perfect. Never has thrown any codes. But I know they are coming. 170k on car 2011. No records if tran fluid was ever changed...

Good idea, I think I will do that. The GX is my winter car so I'll do it in the spring. Would hate to need to swap trannies and drive a 52 year old convertable in the snow. 😂🤣

2012 GX460 which I purchased 2.5 yrs ago with 140k on it. Now 175k. Only problem was transmission would shift slowly when cold, 500 RPM higher.. Say 40 degrees or less on the temp.. No hx of transmission fluid changes ever. Maybe? probably not. I really want to change the fluid BUT...

P.S. I had already decided to do a pan drop and filter change. I have every thing needed in a box in the garage. But, now trying to get a line on a new tranny prior to proceeding :)

Yep, looks like I have joined the club. 165k on my 2011 GX 460. Never had a problem till last winter. When cold out side transmission Just doesn't shift correctly until ? 5 min, 1/2 block or until I cycle thru all the gears once. Then all is perfect. Trans fluid as far as I can tell...
