Interesting! that may explain why mine was repainted. Originally a 2006 White GX470, I bought it maroon red from a dealer, but was always curious why it it was repainted. Had a perfect Lexus service history with no mention, a clean carfax and I have yet to uncover any issue.

I added the slimeline II a couple weeks ago for a trip into the sierras. Carried two 10' kayaks, a spare tire, hijack and a couple maxtrax. Quite happy with it, install was pretty straight forward (bolted into factory mounts) and is very sturdy (no issues walking on it up there). No issues...

Just noting that I emailed Brandon and aluminum bumpers are not included in the group buy. I've got my kit and just need to find a welder in the bay area. If anyone has recommendations, PM me. (a couple said hell no, we have a big demand for welders here)

You can get a quick free vehicle history report via these instructions I looked at close to 40 options before I bought mine. Service history was the most important factor, I choose higher miles with better records over lower miles and without. Look for notes about people declining service...

s*** just got real. Fresh out of the shop, Icon Stage 6 installed with Geolander M/Ts (285/70) mounted on Stealth6 wheels. White knuckle sliders on the way. Thinking about bumpers next & digging that Costal Offroad @BrandonF !
