AC help, taking a long time to get cold in very hot temps

I was clocking water temps of 196* (normal) at spikes to 206* (abnormal). With these high-heat spurts, I'm leaning toward putting the blue clutch mod to the test.

AC help, taking a long time to get cold in very hot temps

Chiming in from Boston. With this current heat wave, AC blows cold on start-up out of our garage, and out of the garage where my wife parks our (black) 96 for work. Upon leaving either garage, that ice-cold AC struggles to keep cool in the sun. Still blows cold. but not as cold. We got a new...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Added carpet (Ocean State Job Lot prices for the win) to the drawers I put together. Drawers offset to accommodate a little 10" under the seat sub right behind the driver-side rear seat

looks like the final bit of someone drilling through the diff or axle. Used to call them tophats at my old metal fab job.

    EGR delete. I know, I know…

Hey gents, chasing a p0401 and p0420. Putting in a new magnaflow y pipe to chase the 0420. For the 0401, I've been flirting with deleting the EGR. Questions regarding that. 1. Is the Huddexpo plug mod all that is needed to disable the EGR and not throw codes? This leaves the system in place...

They work on Prados, 40s 60s 80s 100s, RHD's you name it, even have a few mega cruisers on the lot. Overall, not going to chew them out. I think the tech just wasn't experienced enough to know. But I will not be sending any more business their way. When my wife and I bought this cruiser, PO...

Okay so now I'm pretty pissed. I just paid a shop 2k miles ago to do wheel bearings on both sides. They are an import shop that deals with a lot of JDM. They should have caught these spindles. They damn well should have caught the non OEM bolts holding the passenger steering arm. I'm glad they...

Driver side is without the CV axle. Passenger has CV axle poking out. Driver looks like it has minimal wear but slight groove. Passenger is toasted by y'all's info. Time to get 2 new spindles w/ bearings. Thanks gents, y'all rock!

The best way to check would be to try and get the brass bushing to spin under little power? It shouldn't be able to spin at all if I'm not mistaken.
