Thank you.
As far as I was able to research my cruiser is 1983 New Zealand version: four drums, power steering, crucially NO roll bar whatsoever.
We slid to a side and then gently on the roof. First pic looks really scary but on the second you can see the same side almost all up. Not saying it...
I rolled mine and discovered PO at one point swapped windshield frame to a glass fiber one.
Everyone is fine, cruiser will be soft top now, with a full roll cage.
Day later I can answer this myself. After reviewing FSM and inspecting wear on the sides of the block I am certain that's the correct way to put it back together.
I managed to NOT lose any of the 24 springs which is a bonus. Fitment to the truck tomorrow but the wear pattern tells me it was...
Took my power steering pump on a weekend trip to my in-laws, because I am running out of time before the big trip next week. I figured it's going to be bonding moment with my father in law :)
Question for the "for USA" version which apparently I have on a 1983 BJ42: slipper isn't symmetrical. Does it matter which direction I put it back in?
One side has a notch in it.
I got links form Chris and posted them here https://toyota3b.s3.amazonaws.com/3b_manifold.zip
They may go dark at one point, but Chris and I have them now, so PM us to get it in the future. In the meantime, link above should work.
