I just went through this on my rig. I made up the bracket from a stainless steel hook I bought at West Marine. Worked out great

Thanks LasCrucer. I like this option the best but I never have the roof on. What I am thinking is to sew the wire into my bikini top and mount it on top of the roll bar.

I did a search for the placement of a Sirius XM radio antenna for an FJ40 and all I could find was one for a PIG. Right now I have my antenna temporarily mounted on the dash, but the signal is lost a lot. Since I need my First Wave '80s music I need to find a better place for it. Has anyone...

I agree with those who say you should try to pass smog before you do anything drastic. Drive here around for awhile to get the feel of her and then go to it. As for restos, I am a purist. To a point though. :cool:
