after a few days with the wire brush on the grinder again shes looking better and about to sit on the frame

its hard to see in this pic but the body has seen better days befor it sat under a tree for 3 years it was rust free i have to say im a little disappointed i didn't get to it before this [/URL][/IMG]

Got stuck into the frame first she was pretty bad but the steel is sooooo thick I don’t think the rust has done anything but make it a little lighter hehehehe

I was quoted $1000 to sandblast the frame and paint black now I know they would have done a good job but 1 grand is just...
So a few years ago I striped her down and the body was crap and I found this one are the wrecker at the time it was brilliant but she sat under a tree for 4 years so its going to need some attention

Kids loved it wife loved it but the rust was slowly killing her. So the plan was after our last trip to fraser island I would strip the troopy down and finally spend some money and clean her up

jerrah the ford motor is locked in its the only thing i think i know for sure and you help will be greatly appreciated i been thinking about it and you should get a 40 dont bother with 60's and 80'. 40's are the only way to go
