Yours auto or manual? I know its a long shot, but mine does what you describe because my neutral switch on the auto is faulty. It still clicks behind dash, just wont start sometimes because it thinks its still in gear.

hey heres my '75 shorty 2" BL, 2" sus lift, 307 chev, 35" bfgs and a whole lotta headaches, but i love her and will keep her 4 a while yet :)

i was thinking of goin 60 series gear but i got told that the actual diff "pumpkin" has too much offset and that the diff will end up hanging out to one side of the car. is this a crock or what? i got discs on the front already but yeah discs up back would be sweet too.

hey there. i'm also in aus and also have a 307 chev in my shorty '75. i run 35's with armstrong :D but am gonna attempt to do a p/s conversion from a hilux/minitruck. theres heaps of info in the tech links as you've probably realised
