its more of a tire wear issue. I have about 30% tread left on the 18in and these tires have served me well. I had a lot of surfing safari's with my daughter. Rim swap today the winter rims are off. the KMC Hoss 275/65/18 were swapped for 200 Series rims 285/50/20 both tires run Nitto Terra Grapplers G2.
