    Brake Line Lengths

mooker82, thanks for the numbers. Sorry, but I don't know the wiki you speak of. One more question: How does Napa measure the length of their flex lines? They must measure from outside end of fitting to outside end of fitting because the lengths quoted on napaonline.com are longer then the...

    Brake Line Lengths

Tankota, why couldn't you just use the stock hard-to-flex line mounts that are on the front axle already. I do have to weld on some of these mounts for the rear adapter.

    Brake Line Lengths

Hello, I am having a frustrating time hunting down the flex lines for my truck. Its a 82 BJ42 and here's the situation: Monte Carlo rear calipers. Stock front disks WITHOUT dust sheild. All stock brakeline mounts removed except for on the axles. So, I am trying to spec some flex lines but...

    knuckle rebuild help

OK guys, I have a question about a knuckle dilema I have right now. I got a rebuild kit for my 1982 BJ42 and I have the knuckle itself assembled...my problem is with a part that came in the kit. From the FSM it appears to be the "dust seal" and it goes on after the disk shield over the spindle...

    u-bolt plates

I am making some new u-bolt plates and I am planning on using an old set of front shock towers to cut, trim, and weld onto the rear u-bolt plates to mount the shocks in the stock location. The only problem is I think the shock towers are cast iron. Can somebody verify this with their own...
