Purchased a 1971 FJ40 in Sept. 2025. Rough, but in my price range. Wanted one as long as I can remember. Now to get it running right and patch up the rust. Not interested in a show truck. Just a dirt road cruiser and fishing/hunting. For the record, I've had a triumph spitfire for around. 15 years, so I am somewhat familiar with 'issues' associated with older vehicles. I am hoping the FJ won't be quite as flaky as the spit. I'm a jack of all trades kind of guy who just like quality old stuff over cheap new stuff. Looking forward to learning and sharing what I learn with others.
