I've got them on my '18 with no spacers. I think it just looks more pronounced to you because of the change. I had the same "problem" when I took the 1" spacers off my 100.

They are, mine are just kind of dirty - loctite, fluid film, etc.

Selling these as I've moved to a location where I don't think I need them anymore. Price with shipping is $350. Excellent condition, they have been religiously maintained and come with all service records. I will send my mounting hardware, which work fine, but you might want to get new bolts.

That is a nice truck, especially with that color combo. Consider greasing the driveshafts, they are overlooked by almost everyone not on MUD. My 997 is getting a new engine from FSI as we speak, looking forward to that upgrade.

My wired one charges the phone just fine while using google maps. But Beatsonic came out with wireless a couple years ago, not sure they even sell the wired version anymore.

Sorry, man. Something similar happened to my LX in Montreal a few years ago. They weren't so rough with my door, but I still had to get it painted/replace the locks, etc....

I believe I misunderstood your question - what happens is that if a parameter changes in the car, the OEM screen pops up for a couple seconds. I don't think inputs when you are in CarPlay affect the OEM settings on the screen that is "behind/under" the CarPlay screen. I just went out and...

You mean does activity in the truck's system (like a CC temperature change) temporarily interrupt the unit's display? Yes.

That is my setup. FWIW I think the mouse thing is fine, probably better than touchscreen, and I like the layout of some of the menus better than those in my '16 LC. The Beatsonic works well, I have the older wired version in my LX, the wireless in my GSF.

This is why I’m fine with 10mpg.
