In my turboed 3b, it ran better at stock settings. The difference between timing settings between the factory na 3b and the 13bt is likely to be due to the different injection type (direct/indirect), and head arrangements, rather than whether the engine has a turbo on it or not.

I had a look at this a while ago, while the block is 14bt, it looks to have a different head than the heads used in trucks. It looked to have glow plugs which I have not seen in the 13bt's.

Yep, same here. Been looking in Aus for both grille and back door turbo badges and impossible to find. Awesome work to re-create these. Hoping you will ship to Aus.

yep, the grill mounting points on the radiator supports are the same, over here the first 73'/75's had chrome or black steel grilles with separate Toyota badge, post 90' they had a plastic grey grills on the HZj75's with Toyota moulded into them, and then the grill with the mexican hat symbol...

I had a similar problem, mine has two marks. I took out the glow plug and put a cable tie down and turned the crank and watched when the cable tie reached its peak, then marked the matching line with paint.
