Looking for 2 side, 2 corner and 1 rear glass for late 70's FJ40. I have a '71 and finding weatherstripping for late 70's that will fit mine, but guess I need appropriate aged glass to work.
Yes @Poser I am getting fluid coming through the bleed valves.
@emac - I will search on Bench Bleeding and do that. Just didn't know the term so THANK YOU! Hopefully that will fix my issue, didn't even cross my mind when installing the new master.
I am converting my 78 FJ45 (Costa Rica) from 4-drums to front disc and still have no pressure in the brake pedal on first pump, but will develop pressure by multiple pumps.
Background:
New master brake cylinder for disc/drum
New rear brake cylinders and hoses
New calipers in front
SOR dust...
I have a ‘78 FJ45 and just starting the rebuild. When I turn the ignition on the key can be removed. Is there a way to fix this?
Also, how do I remove the cylinder?
I have searched and didn’t find anything.
Thank you,
Brian
I have 2 pigs; '72 that is "fairly" rust free and a '73 (6 months older than the 72) that is a donor.
In the last 3+ years, been really focusing on family that includes raising my boys and limiting my obsessions - so haven't made time to even touch these. I want to get these to a good home...
