Maiden voyage out to Big Bend NP in our new 2014 was a great success. Super comfy on our 1200 mile round trip and some moderate trail running (a lot of the trails were flooded and closed unfortunately). The 570 never missed a beat, a huge step up from my 450 for this kind of trip. Just realized...
Got the 305/55/r20 Revo 3s mounted up w/ 1.25" KSP spacers at Round 2 Offroad. They did have to do a little cutting but it looks like they did a great job. Will have to see if I get any rubbing at full stuff/lock. I love the look and extra meat, but I do think they poke a little too much for my...
Sweet, thanks for the info. Should I just try and source a 5th 305/55/r20 for the spare or will I need to look for a smaller width/sidewall with the same overall diameter?
Picked up a light used set (4) of Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3s in 305/55/r20 for a steal ($360 for all four). Also got a set of 1.25 spacers. These will be mainly used so I can get the Pirelli AS tires off for a trip to Big Bend later this month.
Will I be able to fit a 5th in this size onto the...
Just out of curiosity, would you mind obscuring the names and posting these DMs? I'd see no reason that anyone would bother to DM you their opinion (as opposed to just posting it in the thread). Not saying you're lying, but enough to claim a 50/50 split is doubtable.
Seems like this thread is...
Just picked up this 2014 LX570 w/ 155k miles for $30,900 + TTL (small local dealer, awesome to work with, free car washes every Saturday for life )
- 2-owner car, all in central TX (absolutely 0 rust)
- Interior is mint
- Good service history since new, mostly serviced at a dealer, though...
Finally got around to installing and testing the Ostrich Wing Awning from @RuggedBound. This thing is solid, even in a fairly constant 15-20mph wind. 1 minute to setup, maybe 2 minutes to put away. So nice to not have to deal with my 10x10 canopy from HF anymore.
Plugging @NLXTACY's power distribution post(s). Probably super overkill for most applications, and maybe a bit outdated regarding components (I think BlueSea is still the go-to for fuse blocks, not sure how far inverters have come) but a lot of gold in those threads.
I used this as a rough...
So I went and broke one of the exhaust manifold to y-pipe studs, and there's absolutely nothing to grab/weld to. I've never really dealt with this before, so I'm turning to the experts before I try anything stupid...
