Hello, no it did not free up, I took it to a brake shop and they told me it needed all new brakes, including new parking brake levers etc. I ended up doing a full rear brake job (pads/rotors initially), and drove it home. The rear brakes overheated on the way home. They told me it needed new...

That's basically completely rust free if you ask me. I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to buy something with that little rust - super hard to find those around my parts.

NOPE It's not that at all. The cable itself is frozen. I ended up "hoping" that it was just the inner shoe frozen to the drum, but definitely not that. I guess I have to either wait until it warms up, OR overheat the inner drum while driving to a shop to have them park it inside overnight.

Yeah it could very much be that. Not sure. Yes I tried putting it in reverse/drive a few times... Didn't free them up

I live on a sloped driveway, and use our parking brake to hold the vehicle. Well, I guess the parking brake is frozen, it won't release. It's about 15F outside. Also windy. Wondering what options might be to get it released? Anyone had to do this before?

Ha! I actually thought of doing that. But kind of forgot they'd actually need to be in a pressurized environment. Wondering if its really worth the trouble. Probably easier to just have the lights bark at me every time I air down lol

Hello, wondering if this is possible. We use our LX so much offroad, and are constantly changing tire pressures etc all the time. (IE airing down for several hundred kms at a time), then airing back up for road travel - It's annoying to have the TMPS system act up every time we air down NOTE...

Yes I'm guessing you're referring to the newest iteration... Because the Sequoia had a center diff until its most recent body style change. I believe until 2021 they had it. I know that my 2008 did, and I used the full time 4wd mode (center unlocked) on every occasion I was doing higher speed...

Pretty marginal differences. Likely outdoor conditions, driver differences, reaction time, temperature, elevation at the point of testing can make a huge difference etc, how many extra people in the rig - lots of variables can change and provide different outcomes

I haven't driven any 100 series with the 5 spd (not to mention one with vvti) , I came out of a 1999 LX470 with the 4spd, and now have an LX570 (6spd) - and in our area in Southern BC there are a lot of hills, and we also regularly do backroad excursions etc (hilly mountainous driving on fsr...
