Would there be much potential for me to damage the engine if I didn't change the fuel and filter? Good call on checking the air filter.

I probably should have mentioned that. He used to use it for hunting and fishing, and ended up spending more time golfing as he retired. He moved to a condo, so he didn't have the parking space, so he moved it over to his daughters where she has a lot of property.

A buddy of mine has a 82 BJ60 that he has sitting at his daughters farm and has not started it in 3 years. It has rust for sure, rear hatch, some on the doors, but the frame doesn't seem to have rot. The batteries are dead and the hubs looked very rusty. The 3b engine only has 192k on it...
