In the beginnings of taking appart my 45, and the ocd is kicking in. Thing is, no one makes the correct floor panel with the square embossments for the 45. I could just bite the bullet and get panels with the round indents, but would rather not. So, the questions are: How much press do I need...

So.... It's becoming a problem: I rebuilt and swapped in an h55 into my 81 BJ42. Original problem is it would not go into 1st/2nd when hot say at a stoplight. Yesterday, I noticed this is now extending to 3rd/4th. My (somewhat irrational) fear is that I mucked up the transmission rebuild but...

Did you ever find the cause? I have the same issue when hot, Pilot bearing ok, Syncros ok, and new shifter bushing.... still once hot cannot get into 1st/2nd...

Hello All, it's getting close to time to change the oil pan on my rig. Can't seems to find any on the webs, and I think the part number I want is 12101-59146. seems like OEM is discontinued, is there an aftermarket alternative that has been tried or is available? Thanks! Andy

Indeed. Spoke to Kurt @cruiseroutfitters and he brought up the same concern: no room for assembly. His suggestion was to tilt the engine and take the trans out. The whole truck was rebuilt 10,000km ago. I agree though, if the trans comes out the rear main gets changed. it is leaking. 4Cruisers...
