Home Made Roof Top Tent (RTT)???

This is pretty good. Not exactly what I'm looking at doing, but I like how he did the platform. I'm going to be using a DiamondRax as the base for my build. I've really been going back and forth on the type of tent to use. I still have a couple of ideas I'm trying to work out in my head, but I...

Home Made Roof Top Tent (RTT)???

Hi All- I'm sure it's my poor search techniques, but I'm looking for threads regarding any home made roof top tents. I found a couple that were pretty old (2004) and some of the links don't work anymore and I was wondering if there more out there? Or, is anyone currently undertaking a project...

    EGR - Can it wait?

Hi All- I finally had a chance to check my intermittent check engine light. It's the ERG circuit. I know what it does, but do I need to fix it right away or can I continue with my other baselining and PM? In other words, will it do harm if I don't get to it for a month or two? Thanks, -Randy

    Front rotor and caliper advice

Hopefully someone else will chime in with more experience, but I'm dealing with the same thing on my rig. For me, piece of mind is a big factor, so I plan on replacing all front pads, rotors and calipers. Once all is said and done (in my mind), there's not that much more money to do both sides...

    Duratrac Prices

I just got 4 Dura Trac's (315/75R16) on April 6th, mounted and balanced from America's Tire Store in Oregon for $1,088. I've only had them for 2 weeks, but I love them! They ride great, very low road noise. Plus, for me, they are betting in the snow than the K2's. Hope this helps some. -Randy

    LX450 Arrived - Have Questions

Hi All- Well, it finally arrived (pictures coming this weekend). My 1997 LX450, purchased sight unseen. It’s an absolutely beautiful vehicle. I’ve only had it since Monday, so I haven’t had a chance to drive it too much. But still, I have a couple of questions. Basic setup: All...

    Builds TexasD90 LX450 build

You're about 6 months ahead of where I plan to be with my '97 LX450 (which should get delivered in the next couple of weeks). Looks great and has me drooling as well as chomping at the bit. The only thing I plan on doing different to mine is adding a snorkel. Great work! -Randy

Now I've Gone & Done It!!! New LX 450 Owner

Jeez! I've got to start off by saying that it's a pain in the :censor: to try and buy a car when you live in Juneau, AK. The biggest trouble is finding a decent vehicle, then being able to move fast enough to close the deal, THEN arrange for shipping the car to Alaska. Well, it took a few...

Do These Look Okay? Just dirty or leaking?

Thanks everyone. So, what I'm gathering is: 1) This isn't a deal breaker, 2) Use cost of repair/replace as negotiating tactic, 3) Make sure there's enough grease in there for a while, and 4) Plan on a rebuild sometime in the future This is a stock vehicle. I plan on doing a baseline then...
