New Rear Bumper Option, Off Road Specialties

I would probably guess it closer to 150lbs total. I can pretty easily lift the swing. Guessing it's 40'ish. And although it's bulky, I can pick up the bumper by myself without too much issue. I'm going to guess it's 90'ish lbs.

Options available and customer testimonials. :flipoff2: Either way. I am not going to say I make the best product out there. I feel I'm comparable and that my design is well tought out. But companies like ARB and Slee do make a very well made product. This isn't a pissing match though. My...

There is no worry of that with these heims. The threads are fine enough to make adjustment very precise. You're in luck. I happen to have two of them here. I prefer the round. But can swap to t-handels without any issues.

Oh, he is. I liked working with him for that reason. He's a good critic to judge my work and it felt good to meet and surpass his expected level of quality. It is customers like him that challenge me to raise the bar.

I somehow missed quoting this. I will not sacrifice the design or cut corners to meet a desired price point. There was once a point in this country that people valued quality over price. I still see the world from those eyes. I'm very happy with my material choice, arm design, pivot, latch...

Yes. This is all braced straight into the frame. I have built a number of swing out carriers with this design for other vehicles and have yet to have anyone with a problem the material the bumper is built from is 3/16 hot rolled steel. It is more than adequate to hold a 35" tire as well as a...

There are threaded holes for a plate. You'll just run those little lighted bolts they sell at the parts stores for plate lights.

The heim pivot I have used. This latch design is new to me. But I have played with it some. There isn't any way for it to rattle. There is both a nylon strike pad and rubber stopper that assure that. Yes there is both a spring loaded lock-out to hold the gate open and to lock the latch...

No I don't have any concerns. I am using 2" .120 tube. It is supported quite well and if you'll notice the top tube is bent and then fishmouthed to give extra surface area for the weld and lateral load. The pivot is comprised of two chromoly 3/4 x 3/4 heims, each with a load rating of over...

$1200 for the base bumper without swing. An additional $1200 for the tire carrier. I will also note. These are not available for order yet. I have a few changes to my design I'd like to make before giving it the green light. Hopefully by the first of January I will be ready.

No. Here is something I think many are missing. I don't run a large production based fab shop. My bread and butter is building really radical one off buggies and one off components. As such, each of these bumpers are built by hand, completely (this will give you guys a lot of options when...

Wow. When did those come onto the market? Talk about a clear copy of my original design... But my swing it quite a bit different. Either way I'm not here to try and be the cheapest. I only want to fill a demand I was asked to fill by you guys. I'm sorry. But no way will I build...

Somewhere in the vicinity of $1200 without a swing out or the reflector/light pockets. That is not set in stone though.
