There's an outer o-ring (9030156009) around the actuator body, where it mates with the transfer case. This is likely the source of the leak, but it's difficult to pinpoint without at least a photo, and more likely the inspection you've already...
I've done suspension refreshes before but never as thorough as this. You're a better man than I to spend the time and effort, but your car will be as tight as new and pay dividends going forward.
