Okay, at the risk of having a good deal bought out from under me, or me buying something that's been pieced together I'm needing some expert opinions on an FJ40 I've been looking at online for a couple months. For an "1981", I'd expect it to have ambulance doors instead of the this older style...

How current are the pictures... asking because the ad says it's in Dallas, but is showing California plates.

I saw something in Lexington, SC this morning that looked like a FJ40 with a pickup bed on the back. Looked factory.

So I'm assuming it's still available. Would you take $8000 for it?:meh:

What you could do is copy your original ad in the same locations as his with a comment that yours isn't really for sale. Double ads with the same pictures would raise some red flags to potential buyers.
