I don't know I just bought the vehicle, like two weeks ago, and so can't compare power. I've got the records and talked to the mechanics and so I know the original engine was replaced with a reconditioned one.

I have a 1994 2.8 diesel 4runner and am wanting to put a turbo in it. The body has done 280k kms but the a reconditioned engine was put in 50k kms ago. Any thoughts? Will the engine cope? how should i do it? Where should i get parts? (i live in Sydney Australia btw) thanks Jeremy
