Spotted a nice 40 today on 610. Like the flaps 👍🏻

Brought it home, again! We moved houses July 2019 and I put my 40 and a bunch of parts in what was supposed to be “temporary” storage while we finished some remodeling. Finished the remodel work early 2020, then COVID happened, work got crazy, busy schedule with a 3 and 5 year old, etc... BUT...

Not sure how a perch like this would work on the front axle, but it could give you the 3 inches you’re after...

If you have a 6 point cage, using a small turnbuckle, 2 bolts and fence strap from the front bar to the windshield frame are about as cheap/easy as you can do it. The tension is adjustable with the turnbuckle too. I ran this on my old 1972 Bronco and it worked perfect to stiffen the windshield...
